Now as i've said to many before i've got a knee problem from an accident on the slopes in Val d'Isere. After two surgeries later i'm just starting to introduce exercise again but nothing too high impact. I've indulge in long yoga and pilates sessions but nothing much more, so when i got a call from the gym saying a space was available on the very popular 'Zumba' class (even though i only had 10 minutes notice!) I went along.
I loved that class, I can see why its good for all because you get out what you put into it. I'm a dancer and an ex-cheerleader so rhythm and picking up moves is pretty standard for me, meaning I really got into it and the hour flew by. I was very hot a sweaty after which is always a good thing!!
People wore loads of different kinds of clothing but what is cool to wear at the gym? What actually is supportive etc...
I currently have a pair of awesome yoga cropped leggings from Nike's yoga specific range but, i've just been browsing Sweaty Betty's Spring/Summer 2011 range which is amazing. I am a bugger and get very self conscious in gym gear so do stick to dark colours so hopefully i'll start to branch out. Check out the outfit below perfect for a dance class or low impact work out.
And all girls need a girlie bottle for wetting our whistle...
Now the rest of the day (as its very overcast weather here in the UK) i'm going to clean the flat whilst the boy is at work and then maybe go for a swim. Now me and swimwear have a love hate relationship, I don't about anyone else but I tend to stick to dark colours. Basically anything not to draw attention to myself.
This swimming costume from Sweaty Betty is perfect, but slightly pricy at £70.00!
I don't love it thaaat much.
