Carrying on with my fashion full day organised by the wonderful team at LG, I had the designer Lucas Nascimento to look forward to. I'd already had such a fantastic day with the likes of Holly Fulton and SIBLING, I was really excited to see what Lucas would offer..
Setting the scene for Brazilian designer Lucas Nascimento's collection were the beats of La Fragintini, encouraging a theme of funky and psychedelic sophistication. Earthy tones initially emerged supporting simplistic lines and effortless silhouettes, with models strutting along the catwalk that showcased numerous adaptations of classic designs.
Hippy side swept hair with long draped cardigans, glittery shimmers, coloured leather and woollen coats all played a part in becoming the cocktail that encouraged a clear seventies inspiration behind this Autumn/Winter collection.
Lucas’s muse for this show was German model Veruschka whose glamorous body paint shoot from the 1970’s played a key part in his creations and was made very obvious throughout. An empowering atmosphere from start to finish only emphasised the supremacy of such a collection, making it a fantastic AW14 range.
What do you think of his AW14 collection? Have you got a favourite piece?
