New years eve is always a tricky night to plan. Do you go out and pay lots of money for drinks and entry into your everyday bars or do you settle for the night in front of the TV? In hindsight I probably should of stayed in and saved me a day full of a hangover. I have been the most unproductive human being ever. It’s been lovely!
So back to New Years eve 2011. Everything was rushed, as always it was hard to get it all crammed in before we needed to head to the bar at 8pm. Of course we didn’t get out until about 9.30pm…by which time chamagne and plenty of wine had been consumed… tomorrow clearly was going to be fun! Dressing for new years can be a nightmare, you want to look good and not like you would on any average night out…
What I’m wearing: Backless silk dress by Traffic People, Earings from Monsoon, Sequin Clutch from Topshop, Neckless by Dainty Damsel and heels by KG
I decided to go quite simple, something I was comfortable in as well. I haven’t been very well so it seemed a good idea to go with an outfit that was both stylish and comfy. I loved the fact this dress was backless,it was made of such delicate fabric and of course it cheekily showed off my back. Perfect for New Years Eve! I then teamed this dress with my Dainty Damsel – striking long tassle drop necklace (which is now a bargain of £10 in their sale!), you can wear this necklace with the tassle at the front or as I did with it going down my back.
|The reason for my headache this morning!|
This morning woke up with a stinking headache and felt like I’d been run over! Quite possibly due to being picked and dropped, causing me to whack my head. I’ve got a cracking bump on my head! So moving on from my drunken tales, me and the boy stayed in bed all day watching…Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and The Wizard of Oz. The new years resolutions all start tomorrow…
Hangovers aside… Happy New Year everyone!
