July 2012: Top Picks

Annie Bean’s Top Fashion Picks

I decided every other week I’m going to do a post on my top (building up to once a week) high street fashion picks. I’m going to highlight some of my best fashion items.  Depending on how I feel mood wise, what the weather is doing, or what adventures I’ve got coming up – all may reflect in the items I chose! Well today, after visitng the delightful magnifique Paris I want to pick items that were reflective of the beauty.

Motel Rocks Annali Strapless Cream Bustier Dress – £48.00

I’m in love with delicate tones and floaty dresses at the moment.  Yes, I’m very aware this is a total cliche with it being summer but as most of us in the UK know – we haven’t had any sunshine for the majority of the ‘summer’.  Now that it’s finally found us, I believe embrace it as much as possible.  This minty colour in a stapless bustier dress from Motel is a gorgeous number, it could potentially be a great contender for a summer wedding too.

Motel Rocks Pam Shirt Dress in Sky Blue Chambray Denim – £42.00

Another Motel Rocks contribution to my top 5 is the fabulous Pam shirt Dress in Sky Blue is ideal for sunny days.  Teamed with nude ballet pumps or gold strapped sandals its super cute.

Next Butterfly Print Dress – £25.00

A simple but cute number, covering in butterflies and flowers – it truly is the ideal number for those extremely hot lazy days.  Even better if you’re off to the seaside perhaps?  I’m heading off to the beach this weekend with my boyfriend so maybe I should invest in one!  Plus better yet this is a perfect dress if you decide to eat seaside chips or indulge in ice cream :o)

Next Floral Belted Jersey Dress – £34.00

I know this number is more covered up and less summery than the others, but I have my reasons.  As we’ve all experienced the British weather is hit and miss but this dress sits happily on the fence.  The tones to it create warmth, but the floral print makes it summery, plus with the material being light its a sure winner for those ‘iffy’ days.

Motel Rocks Cleo Pluge Neck Dress in Feather Print – £48.00

Last but not least for this weeks top picks is yet another dress from Motel Rocks.  As much as I love purchasing light coloured dresses to fit well with the summer, sometimes investing in clothes which work throughout, is a better way to go.  I love this dress as its a very flattering cut.  The print image makes it quite light, thus still making it a great summer dress.  It could be worn in the day with sandals and equally so dressed up for the evening.

That’s your hot ones this week!

These are fantastic! I especially love the first and last styles.
And so what if floaty, pastel fabrics are a summer cliche? I am pretty excited to try and rock all of my mint and peach pieces in the fall/winter by adding a dark sweater or cool boots! 🙂
