Can you believe that Christmas is next week? Honestly time has absolutely flown by and all I feel I’ve done is race about trying to present shop.  Thankfully my gift buying is nearly done (1 or 2 little gifts to get) and I can finally sit back and enjoy the festive holiday.

As many of you will be aware there is of course an influx of Christmas jumpers in every highstreet store possible, from vintage inspired to classically chic there is something for everyone.  I have been eyeing up the rails with my featured top picks from the highstreet but also I’ve displayed a collection of snaps from my work ‘Christmas jumper’ meal… well not everyone joined in but I managed to get some cheeky piccies and trust me there is one or two to be envious of!

The two jumpers above are very classic in style being that they are fairisle design, you could easily wear these sorts of jumpers beyond Christmas – obviously if they have santas, sleighs or reindeers on them you can probably on just do the run up to Christmas.  Chunky knitted jumpers like this are truly your best friend throughout the festive season and remember you don’t always have to follow the stereotype by opting for a green or red garment…be daring and branch out with colours.

I loved this jumper when I saw it and just had to take a snap… genius!  Sometimes just selecting a fun jumper to throw on over Christmas time is what it’s all about…

Even better this jumper is from Primark for only £12!

Next on my list is these two fun jumpers worn by two of my beautiful friends.  The reindeer one is another one from Primark and the snowman is from Next.

Next have provided some amazing festive knits this year especially with this Snowman Sweater… you also may have seen me wearing one of their snowflake printed jumpers (those come in three different colours).

If you’re wondering what I decided to wear well I was really unsure for a while, I couldn’t quite figure out if to go for fun or to just go for Christmas inspired.  I opted for the latter with this Oliver Bonas jumper dazzling blue fairisle knit.

This is the style/print of jumper which works across the winter season regardless of whether it’s Christmas time.  It is festive but it doesn’t come across tacky or stereotypically Christmassy and since it’s Oliver Bonas the quality is of course just perfection.

The texture to this jumper really sets off the contrasting colours making it really unique.

Warm, snuggly, stylish, festive and colourful… which for me is the perfect combination for a Christmas jumper or simply a stylish AW13 piece for a casual day.

Have you purchased a Christmas jumper?  Have you worn it yet?

Before I saw you'd picked that one I was about to say how gorgeous it is! It's a colourscheme you don't normally see on Christmas jumpers, and because it's not *too* Christmassy I'd be okay spending that much as you can wear it for a bit more of the year! BUT, I must resist!

Couldn't agree more. I don't like to miss out but at the same time I don't like to stand out too much..
