After a great start on Friday at fashion week I was
all set to go for a jam packed day of fashion on Saturday. I was seeing
a number of top designers and would undoubtedly be extremely busy; as would the
fantastic LG Steam Team ensuring garments were all perfect for their
The first of my day was Holly Fulton who I am a big fan of, as with each season she always provides a combination of feminine and quirky.LG has a close relationship with talented designer Holly Fulton, with last season seeing the launch of the very stylish Limited Edition Customisable 11kg 6 Motion Direct Drive Washing Machine… complete with outer design from Holly herself.
the ‘city worker’ as the main inspiration, Holly Fulton’s AW14 key theme of
practicality and elegance is sure to be a big hit in the European capital of
contemporary fashion. As this was the first time Holly had showcased a
range of outer wear, this home grown talent has made it a wait worthwhile due
to their exciting shapes and individuality.
though stereotypically Autumn/Winter is typified by deep colours and rich
tones, somehow Holly manages to create a range that remains as optimistic as a
Spring/Summer collection. Delivering an exciting choice complete
with pleated skirts, high necks, long line jackets, metallic colours and embossed
designs, this collection has set out to revamp the look of the typical metro
collection oozes power and pushes towards this with its masculine dramatic
lines; however in true Holly style it still contains plenty of feminine charm
with splashes of floral details, and creative flashes with light delicate
wintery tones added to bold statement shades.
