Spring is natures way of saying let’s party

Easter has been and gone but fear not we have two more Bank Holidays to look forward to in May…Yay!  Did you get up to much? I have spent a great deal of my time in my garden enjoying springtime but also embracing the fashion that comes with it.  I’ll admit I felt very old as all I did was venture around DIY shops, made curtains and then potted plants in my garden… rock and roll kids! Regardless of my old lady activities I still tried to keep cool with my springtime style!

Oh I know… floral trousers again Miss Bean?! Yes!  I love them and these ones I’m wearing from Fever are so light and easy to put with anything!  For this look I’ve given a spring look a splash of earth tones to create warmth.  It is all well and good being up for wearing SS14 but it has been hot, cold, sunny, rainy and windy… so typically British! Adding some earth to light colours balances it out and makes it perfect for April/May activities.

I love my payday treat bag from Warehouse as it is the perfect colour and style for spring days shopping. There is no strap for your shoulder so the Warehouse Grey Chunky Colour Block Tote it sits perfectly on your forearm.

For the rest of my outfit I’ve literally opted for a light biege chiffon top from New Look and pumps from Topshop but ASOS have a gorgeous little pair called Laila that are very similar.

What are your plans for the next weekend? At least it is a four day week! Friday is a big day as I have the UK Blog Awards on the 25th… oh did I mention I’m a finalist?! Wish me luck! 🙂
