Zenflore review

Does Zenflore Probiotic make you feel zen? That’s the big question in today’s blog, but let’s first start with why we need to be feeling a bit more zen in the first place before I tell you my opinion of Zenflore…

I want to feel Zen

The word Zen is a summary of that feeling of being peaceful and relaxed.  If like me, it is probably a feeling you crave, imagining something spiritual or calm and still would be the first points of call in my definition of Zen. Let that impression be your first of the product, Zenflore, the probiotic I’m about to tell you about. But first, let me set the scene of where I’ve come from since testing it out.

My non-existent Zen

In this day and age, there is no denying how hectic life is. My Mum cannot get her head around how much time we’re all absorbed in social media and this crazy digital age we seem to live in. We’re constantly mentally online and very rarely do any of us ever switch off – certainly for me as a blogger.

Between this, social pressures and actual work, it’s no wonder we’re either run-down, exhausted or suffering from some form of mental health problem. Quite honestly, I’m surprised I’ve not just burst from the pressures of life by being pulled each way on a physical, emotional and mental level.

How to feel Zen

What we eat and drink impacts on our mood, simple things like; too much sugar in our diet, eating too much junk food, not drinking enough water. These all can have a major effect on how we think and feel, but if we’ve made changes in what we consume, how else can we adjust our zen levels in life?

Here are my top things I like to do when I need to destress or unwind.

  • Have a bubble bath – I love a good soak and for me, I rarely do this so I deem it as a treat
  • Reading a book – Sometimes a magazine, but find gossip magazines make me feel hectic
  • Taking a walk – It is the reason I got a dog! Fresh hair helps no end
  • Meditating – Completely new to it but Headspace is fantastic
  • Yoga – Well, more of the Savasana part at the end where you switch off!

These are things I do or try to do, but I’ve recently been trying Zenflore and found the results to be surprisingly positive…

What exactly is Zenflore?

I was approached by Zenflore a month or so ago to test out their probiotic product. I’m cautious with anything I consume, (as I always say, my body is a temple) however, I read about it and was instantly interested. As I was approached I’d just been going through a rough patch and found myself being floored by feeling lethargic, tired and fatigue all the time. I knew trying something like Zenflore might just get me back on the right track to feeling better.

Zenflore is the worlds first supplement harnessing the unique 1714-Serenitas live bacterial culture. This all helps provide a natural way to support the body and mind, especially during those busy and demanding times.

PrecisionBiotics have developed a unique formulation with the natural 1714-Serenitas ‘good’ bacteria and specially selected B vitamins, to help support a healthy mind and to combat stress-related fatigue. The special 1714-Serenitas culture in Zenflore has been clinically studied in people with everyday stress and shown to reduce the level of our stress hormone, cortisol.

Did Zenflore work for me?

In short – yes. I started taking them and immediately made sure I had a notepad with me in case I felt anything different. I didn’t have any negative side effects from them, actually quite the opposite. After a few weeks of taking them, I had a day off where I knew I had so much ‘stuff’ to do. I went to bed but didn’t get to bed specifically early, but I bizarrely slept like a log. Sleeping well is quite rare for me, I can often have broken sleep or straight up insomnia, but this night I was out completely. I woke up the next day feeling well-rested and ready for the busy day ahead. I felt incredible and was flying through my to-do list, but half expected that 3 pm lull and fatigue feeling to kick in but it never happened.

Over the next few weeks, I continued to see the positive in this product. I still get stressed to an extent, but I simply cope far better it seems. The biggest positive for me is the ability to sleep and function better, as I had just learned to live and make peace with the fact I’d always feel fatigue and sluggish in the afternoon. Zenflore has really helped with me sleeping better, being able to switch off my racing mind and actually sleep well, meaning I function far more efficiently in every aspect of my day.
