Getting back on track with training again. 🏊🚲🏃‍♀️ Getting back on track with training again. 🏊🚲🏃‍♀️
The bike is back. The swims are back. The runs are back. And so is my recovery. If I’ve learned anything over the past few years, it’s the importance of recovery within your training regime. It’s just as important as the main cardio itself. I definitely wish I’d prioritised recovery more during my training for Ironman Kona. I kept thinking, I stretch enough, this is fine… when in hindsight, I should have done more. Now, recovery is part of every element of my training. It’s how I stay consistent, healthy, and moving forward. Using these @echelon.recovery compression boots post-70.3? Game changer. Just ask my legs after that PB bike 🥰🤍 #TriathlonLife #IronmanTraining #SwimBikeRun #TriathleteMindset
Was planning to do a “what’s in my swim bag”… but Was planning to do a “what’s in my swim bag”…
but got distracted by some of the new swimwear from @zoggsuk 👀💦 Let’s get ready for a swim.
Kicking off 2026 with a splash and it’s all about kit for the job. New swimsuits have landed and honestly… I’m spoilt for choice. From open water swimwear (cold-dip lovers, you’re in for a treat ❄️🌊) to pool faves with all levels of support, racer backs and classic cuts... there really is something for everyone. And obviously… it’s always about the Predator goggles for my swims too and a fun swim cap 🤿🔥 Sometimes this time of year doesn’t need overcomplicating:
👉 swimsuit
👉 goggles
👉 swim hat
👉 go Even if it’s a short swim, you’ve done the hardest part just by getting started 💙 Next time I’ll take you properly through my swim bag for training, but right now?
Good goggles, a supportive swimsuit and a fun-coloured swim hat is all I need. See you at the pool 🏊‍♀️✨ [Part of the Zoggs Family - Brand Ambassador] #triathlete #SwimmerLife #swimtraining #SwimBikeRunWorld #poolside
Thank you so much for all the incredible support 💜 Thank you so much for all the incredible support 💜
Sharing that was scary, but I know this is a journey... and I’m heading in the right direction. Everything is moving at a glacial pace right now. Runs have turned into long dog walks, yoga has replaced speed, and slowing down has become part of the work. And I’m realising that slow can be just as powerful as fast. For a long time, I never sat still — half marathons, racing here, there and everywhere, half-distance triathlons, .Always chasing the next thing. Then life forced a pause. In that pause, I picked up painting again (something I hadn’t done in years — fun fact, I always wanted to be a Disney animator ✨), started playing the piano, and leaned fully into yoga. Three things that quiet my mind. Three things that finally let me stop. There will always be space in my life for swim, bike and run — I still love them. But learning how to rest, create, and protect my mental fitness has been huge. Physical fitness will come back.
Mental health is the foundation 🤍

Truth? I’ve been struggling. Life hasn’t been goo Truth? I’ve been struggling. Life hasn’t been good recently and my health has been pretty bad.
On here I like to keep things positive, so when things took a turn, I stepped back. I kept telling myself: you’re fine, just keep going, keep smiling. On the inside it’s been quite the nightmare. My epilepsy has been getting worse for years and my seizures aren’t controlled. It’s put me in some awful situations and affected everything - my confidence, my mental health, my ability to handle stress. Stress is one of the things that triggers my seizures, so it’s been a vicious cycle. Because of that I had to hold off on big races this year. At least for now.
I can’t live life in bubble wrap, but I did have to ask for help. I’m lucky beyond words to have the most incredible husband, loving family and amazing assistant pup. I’m taking small steps forward — went for a run the other day, played piano, started painting again. I am by no means back to me, but I am heading in a better direction. Did I need to share this? No.
But I get so many messages from people living with epilepsy, and it would feel fake to jump straight back into upbeat mode when this is my reality. You never know what someone is dealing with. If you can be anything in this world, be kind. Okay. Breathe.
Time to rebuild 💜 #EpilepsyAwareness #MentalHealthMatters #itsoktoaskforhelp #epilepsywarrior
If you are having a good time, its not hurting any If you are having a good time, its not hurting anyone, who cares how fast you are. Just have fun!!! Swim, bike and run happy 💜🏊🚲🏃‍♀️

2016. The prime days of my blog popularity 😂 Oh I 2016. The prime days of my blog popularity 😂 Oh I miss them.. Getting invited on press trips, premieres, product launches and making so many blogging pals. It was ridiculous. We always hosted parties at our house. Birthdays and always a Halloween bash. Neighbours must have loved us. Up to all hours, now I am in bed by 8.30pm 😂 I think in this year, I did the Berlin Marathon with Adidas and immediately after flew to Milan (like the day after) for a Huawei Smart Watch launch. You couldn't even make this sh*t up!! I also ran off a mountain in Austria, having a go at paragliding. Went to Italy with Kia... Was invited to YouTube after successful launch of my channel. But I think the most funny is I did fashion blogging, went to every single London Fashion Week worked with beauty and fashion brands. Like honestly 😂 It was a rush. One I feel equally sad it is in the past but also straight up exhausted just thinking about it 😂😅🤣 Nick and I were actually in the UK most of the time, so we explored lots of hiking sites, and did a lot of camping. I think my love of travel started to emerge in 2016 after going to the mountains a lot. It has simultaneously gone fast and slow. Lots of other changes for good and for bad, but honestly feel so thankful to look back and have so many incredible memories. A little bittersweet you might say. #2016trend #thisisme #bloggerdays #blogginglife #lookingbackmovingforward
