The Big Comparison: My Lounge vs No1 Lounge vs Clubrooms at Heathrow Terminal 3 – Which One Is Right for You?

If you didn’t already know, Heathrow Terminal 3 is home to not one, but three different lounge experiences operated by No1 Lounges… and I’ve tried them all! Some through partnerships, some booked completely out of my own pocket, because if you know me, you’ll know airport lounges are my little lifeline.

Travel can be super stressful for anyone, but with my epilepsy, I need to be extra careful. Noise, bright lights, rushing, sensory overload… these things aren’t just unpleasant for me… they’re actually potential triggers. So, I always plan my travel day with calm in mind, and lounges genuinely help with that.

If you’re flying out of T3 and trying to work out which lounge best suits your vibe, your budget, your travel needs — or simply your pre-flight mood — here’s my honest, tried-and-tested comparison.

The Quick Summary

If you’re skimming, here’s the snapshot:

My Lounge – Best for chilled, casual travel. Great for groups, families, and people who don’t mind a buzz.
No1 Lounge – The all-rounder. Stylish, comfortable, balanced. Great food options, good bar, solid atmosphere.
Clubrooms – Premium, peaceful, grown-up. Hosted service, quieter environment, perfect for anxious or stress-sensitive travellers.

And now, the full breakdown…

My Lounge – Laid-Back, Social, Budget-Friendly

Perfect for:
✔ Families
✔ Groups travelling together
✔ Passengers who want a casual, sociable space
✔ Those on a smaller budget
✔ People who don’t mind (or enjoy!) a bit of bustle

My Lounge is the most informal of the three, almost like a cool airport café meets relaxed bar. It recently had a full revamp so expect quirky décor, comfy seating, and a friendly, easygoing vibe.

There’s selfserve food, snacks, a coffee machine, soft drinks, and a make-your-own drinks station, which people love. It’s relaxed, no-frills, and great if you’re travelling with people who want freedom to grab things as they come and go.

The vibe:
Sociable, fun, energetic. It’s not silent, so if you need a super-calm environment, this won’t be the one…. but if you want value and flexibility, it’s brilliant.

No1 Lounge – The Classic, Reliable All-Rounder

Perfect for:
✔ Solo travellers
✔ Couples
✔ Anyone wanting a quieter feel without paying premium prices
✔ Those who like a bit of style
✔ People wanting both buffet options and table service

No1 Lounge offers a more upscale atmosphere than My Lounge. Stylish décor, large windows, cozy seating zones, and a nice balance of comfort and practicality.

Food-wise, there’s usually a buffet selection plus a small made-to-order menu, depending on the time of day. The drinks bar is staffed and well stocked, and overall the vibe is relaxed without feeling overly fancy.

The vibe:
Calm but not silent. Stylish but not intimidating. A really nice, solid choice if you want to start your journey smoothly without going full premium.

It’s the lounge I used to choose most often — until Clubrooms arrived…

Clubrooms – Premium, Peaceful, and My New Favourite

Perfect for:
✔ Anyone who gets stressed by travel
✔ Health or sensory needs (my personal category!)
✔ People wanting a quieter, grown-up space
✔ Couples + solo travellers
✔ Those who prefer restaurant-style service
✔ Anyone who loves a good cocktail

Clubrooms feels more like a boutique lounge — warm lighting, beautiful décor, calming colours, and a quieter atmosphere overall.

It’s 12+ only, which makes a noticeable difference to the noise levels.

The biggest highlight is the hosted table service. No buffet chaos, no queues, no balancing plates. You sit down, breathe out, and they bring everything to you.

Breakfast Menu Highlights

(From the current Clubrooms sample menu)

  • The Clubrooms Breakfast – their spin on a full English
  • Eggs Benedict / Eggs Florentine
  • Breakfast Hash (my absolute favourite!)
  • Scrambled Eggs on Toasted Sourdough with Smashed Avocado
  • Signature Pancake Stack (T3 exclusive)

Plus pastries, fruit, cereals, and hot drinks self-serve.

The Drinks

Clubrooms has a really polished drinks offering, including cocktails…. and yes, the signature Skyline 75 is as good as everyone says, I can confirm on that one!

The vibe:
Quiet, grown-up, relaxed. It’s my personal favourite because it makes travelling feel manageable and grounding, especially with my epilepsy.

Choose No1 Lounge if you want:

  • Premium-style experience without being pretentious
  • Great food (especially breakfast!)
  • A grown-up, peaceful place to unwind
  • Cocktails and quality drinks
  • A lounge that genuinely feels like a wellbeing choice

My Final Thoughts

No1 Lounges do a brilliant job offering three completely different environments under the same roof at Heathrow T3. As I say, I’ve used them through partnerships and as a paying customer, and my experience has always felt consistent, relaxed and well-thought-out.

For me personally, Clubrooms is the winner. This is because being calm is non-negotiable when I’m travelling. But honestly, all three loungers have their audience, and I love that there’s something for every type of traveller and every type of travel day.

If you want the buzz → My Lounge
If you want something stylish + steady → No1 Lounge
If you want calm, warmth + hosted service → Clubrooms

A lounge for every mood, and every traveller, and don’t forget you can pre-book online to save on cost. However you’re looking at around £40-60.

Have you ever been before? Let me know which you like best.
