Finding gifts at Christmas can be one of the most stressful times when it should be one of the most joyful. The ultimate quest to find the perfect gift for a family member or a friend is even harder because people tend to have what they want already, so how can you be sure to find something they will love to unwrap this Christmas?

When you have a busy festive period like we have, with us being out the country in the run up, the gift hunting has had to be carefully organised to avoid sheer panic when we get home! Luckily Boots have swooped in to save the day for me this year, and I have enjoyed this stress-free process so much, it is definitely the way forward for the festivities in years to come.

Boots kindly gave me £100 to spend on their section dedicated to Christmas presents,so I had a lovely time effortlessly scrolling on the website, popping everything I wanted for the family in the basket.

When it comes to my family and friends, as mentioned most people have what they want, so you need to look deeper into their likes to find  something appropriate centred around that. When I began to flick through the Boots Christmas Gift Guide, I immediately found something you just don’t get in other places, items that are specifically created for Christmas. What do I mean when I say that? They come in special boxes, or have festive designs, something that is like popping a cherry onto of a cake. It somehow makes it even more special.

Beauty gifts

The first place I browse is in the No7 section. I’m such a big fan of their products normally (hello, have you tried their magic cream?!), and I tend to find either people haven’t tried them before and love them once they do, or they have already tried them and love to get their products as gifts. Beauty gift boxes always make the best Christmas gifts for her. The beauty of No7 gifts at Boots is there for all kinds of people, not just women, so there are excellent options for men (although find more options just for him here: Christmas gifts for men). Skincare products could be items geared around sensitive skin, or like the one I got for a family member, the radiance gift set.

Home gifts

Next, I looked at home gifts. I had just redecorated my bedroom and was in home decor mode, and I immediately remembered my Plant Mum friend! Not only could I buy plants from Boots, but they had other trinkets that would make special Christmas gifts

Gym gifts

Did you know Davina McCall has teamed up with Boots to offer some incredible gifts for fitness lovers? As I love fitness, the friends in my bubble tend to enjoy fitness related activities too. This meant the Davina range was going to be a big hit. Things like foam rollers, yoga mats or even specific post-workout washing items, there would be something for any fitness fan!

Stocking fillers

We often do stocking fillers in my household, you know, those smaller gifts that neatly get tucked into the stocking on the door. Me and my best friend always buy each other socks without fail every year. They tend to have animals printed on them, but you cannot beat a slipper sock, and luckily Boots stock the best kind of slipper socks from Totes. Don’t worry if you don’t want to give your buddy socks, there are other items like Positive Vibe candles, chocolates and more. Also, these kinds of presents make the perfect option if you have Secret Santa gift giving to do!

Games gifts

It goes without saying, games always get brought out at Christmas. I don’t know about you, but in the last two years I’ve really savoured time playing games with my family. We normally like to play some kind of board game after Christmas dinner, so this year I’ve decided to test the musical knowledge of the household with the Top of The Pops Board Game.

I personally love buying a range of presents from gift boxes, such as the No7 beauty gift box, to smaller items which I put into a stocking for a bit of variety. The thing is, Boots gives you the option to get a present that is ready done, but also the option to create something truly unique… and with high quality wrapping paper too. You can buy everything you need for your niece right the way to your Grandad, there is something for every age and gender, which can be sent directly from Boots – what are you waiting for? Happy Christmas shopping!
